I absolutely love the bread at this café! I always find myself staring at the bakery items in the showcase, trying to decide which one to choose. The truffle and pumpkin sandwich was truly amazing! The sweetness of the pumpkin, the aroma of truffle, and the melted cheese on the toasted bread were exceptional. The sourdough they used also had olives on one side, adding a nice twist to the flavor. The custard pie that the staff recommended was also delicious! They served it fresh out of the oven, so it was piping hot. If you try to take a big bite right away, you might burn your tongue—so be careful !
With a reputation as big as a Chinese warship building program, tuga has a lot to live up to. I'm happy to say it is the 4.5* that it's rated. The coffee was a little sloppy in construction, but it was excellent otherwise. The Portuguese toast totally yum, and the nata tarts up to their reputation. The service is good, though sparing in quantity. The crew are friendly, though, and the whole thing is as smooth as an electric clock. I am looking forward to tasting more of the caloric ridden range.
This place is wonderful… The coffee is always great and the staff are very attentive and makes the whole operation run smoothly. I had the Portuguese steak sandwich today and the flavours are incredible, way more than I expected. I also tried the batch brew for take away when I left and again, really delicious. I can’t fault this place and would recommend to anyone looking for quality food and great coffee..
10s, 10s, 10s across the board!!!! Gorgeous buzzing cafe in Clovelly, biggest selection of pastries and other breakfast options! Had to stop myself from getting more 1. Savoury Danish 2. Custard and chocolate chip pastry 3. All the liquids - really great coffee! Even my friend who does t normally like coffee enjoyed hers! 4. Not pictured… egg and avocado on toast Shout out to the lovely Connie - the cafe was so busy and she managed to still engage with everyone calmly and with a smile!
Wow, the food here tastes amazing. I had a bun of some sorts with bacon paste, egg and cheese. The staff was really friendly and the place had a nice vibe. I will definitely be back, but more on a ”special occasions” basis, rather than a regular because it was a bit pricey.
